  • NYCF Presents The Gone Girls Live
  • Created in 2004, the New York Comedy Festival is a five-day festival featuring more than 200 comedians performing in more than 60 shows at venues throughout the City. The Gone Girls is a weekly podcast featuring stand-up, improv and sketch comedians Shauna Lane and Ankara Savone.  These two performers are trying to get to the bottom of life while interviewing fellow comedians, doctors, movie makers, travel gurus, foodies and anyone they find interesting. Each episode tackles questions surrounding and overcoming fears in addition to including a sketch written by one of The Gone Girls that’s then cold read by all participants on the show. This traveling podcast meets their guests at different locations such as cars, apartments and McDonalds, including all 5 boroughs of New York City. The Gone Girls are super fun and will have you laughing with your moms! This year at New York Comedy Festival they will be featuring comics Marina Franklin, Matt Richards and Casey Balsham.
